Having been ridden in by Sir Elton during the UK premiere in Leicester Square, Bridgnorth company Fairway Wheels, which designed and built the personalised Hummer, brought it to Bridgnorth to mark the film's first showing.

Members of the public were able to take the place of the music star and snap a selfie before heading inside the cinema and watching his new film, Rocketman, for the first time.

Mark Ainsworth, of Fairway Wheels, said this was the second time they had worked with Sir Elton.

He said the company had also built vehicles for him during his appearance in Kingsman: The Golden Circle in 2017.

He added: "Elton loved the cars we made for him during his Kingsman appearance so we were asked to make one for Rocketman.

"We had three weeks notice on making the vehicle and it took more than two weeks just to get the colour right – we ended up doing a complete build in just two days.

"It's a very proud thing to be a part of and obviously a great thing for the company to achieve and say Sir Elton John likes our cars."

Mr Ainsworth said the car will now be offered to Sir Elton to purchase for upwards of £10,000, or alternatively, signed by him and sold at an auction, with the proceeds going to charity.
