Josh Sedgley, 19, loves nothing more than capturing the wildlife and scenery of his native north Shropshire, and now his works are on display at the Festival Drayton Centre.

The exhibition, which will run until January 28, features a variety of Josh’s pictures including summery sunset scenes alongside wintery views of the countryside.

Welcoming visitors to an invitational evening at the centre, Josh said he was especially grateful to Glyn Jackson of Glyn’s Framing for framing the pictures.

He said: “It’s really good to see a lot of people come out to support the exhibition.

“I hope people keep coming to see it while it’s here.”

He has previously won industry competitions and been featured in galleries, and he was also given responsibility for Market Drayton’s annual town calendar for 2019.

A dozen of his shots adorn the calendar, which sold out from independent card shop Hart to Hart more than once.

Josh, who lives near Market Drayton, ran through his list of achievements since setting out on his professional photography journey.

He said: “I am currently specialising in fine art landscape and nature photography, although I also undertake commissions for pet and portrait photography.
