Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, near Craven Arms, have been putting on Flicks in the Sticks. The attraction's Rotunda space was refurbished in 2017, and award-winning films such as Peter Rabbit, Mamma Mia 2 and Bohemian Rhapsody have been shown at the venue to sell-out audiences.

Peppa Pig was the last film to be shown in the centre’s cinema room and sold out to over 75 people.

The Greatest Showman will be shown on Monday next week followed by Mary Poppins Returns on June 8.

Instant Family will be shown on June 28.

Prices are £5 per adult, £3 per child, £15 per family, booking advised. Films will start at 7.30pm with refreshments and a licensed bar available from 6.30pm. The award winning café team will also be introducing a Shropshire Lamb Curry special for the evening. This will be £8 on the night and £7 when booked in advance.

The centre will be showing Disney remakes such as Dumbo and Lion King as well as Rocketman later on in the year.

Booking is advised for all films, contact the centre on 01588 676060 for more information.
