The 180 Club opened last week in the Jewellery Quarter with a bustling launch party to mark the event.

The new bar serves up darts, drinks, and food for revellers. It is suited to both casual and competitive players alike and is home to six darts lanes, each of which can host up to 14 players at a time.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Berni Scott-Rushfirth, manager of The Rectory and 180 Club, said: “We are so excited to introduce Birmingham to 180 Club and show them all that we have to offer.

"We’re proud to be bringing such an exciting concept to the city; playing darts, socialising, and drinking together, we are giving the sport the modern revamp it deserves to make it cool again.”

“We really are making darts sexy…The fit out includes six individual lanes, including a private room if you’re having your own celebration, but a great atmosphere in the room too.

"Darts is about to have a renaissance and we want to be at the forefront; bringing it into the 21st century alongside some of our favourite things – shots, sharer cocktails and New York-style snacks.
