Feel good festival in Llanfyllin

Four days of of song, dance yoga, spirituality, and meditation are being held at the Llanfyllin Workhouse this weekend.

The Nexus gathering, billed as the feel-good Bank Holiday weekend, begins on Friday evening and continues until Monday at the historic building on the edge of the town.

Festival goers can enjoy a series of workshops from yoga, Tai Chi, and Chakra dancing, to mindfulness writing and the Power of Sound.

There will be a host of bands and musicians as well as stand up comedy and spoken word poetry and also ritual ceremonies held under the sun and the stars.

One of the orrganisers, Tim Barker, said: "Nexus Gatherings are relaxed and joyful family friendly gatherings of like-minded folk, celebrating community and embracing connection. Our aim is to co-create welcoming, open-hearted, laughter-filled spaces alive with song, dance, play, yoga, spirituality, and meditation."

For a full weekend adult pass the cost is £65, while children under 16 are free of charge but will require a youth pass.
