Fundraiser for theatre company

Hits from some of the best musicals of several decades will be on stage at a fundraiser in Oswestry later this year.

The Oswestry Musical Theatre Company has to fundraise each year to put on its popular productions and pantomimes.

On May 11 the company will perform two performances at the Marches School in the town.

They will feature the hits from some of the best West End shows, from Oliver and Les Miserables to Matilda, Shrek and the latest blockbuster, Hamilton.

Joint director, Danielle Edwards, said: "We will have more than 50 songs, spanning several decades."

"We hope to be raise funds for the theatre company."

Danielle is directing the production with a new director for the company, Kelly Moorhouse.

There will be performances at 2.30 and 7.30pm with tickets £12 for adults, £8 for children and £32 for a family ticket.
