Gorgeous might not be the word, but Lav and Lou Hardup from Telford's pantomime got into the Christmas spirit with new hairdos.

The pantomime villains, played by Oliver Gray and Dean Horner, visited Nutcrackers in Oakengates to keep their extravagant hairstyles in tip-top shape.

And to be their characteristically vain selves, the sisters took to their Twitter account to share their new and improved look.

"Having a quick pre-show hairdo in Oakengates this morning," the pair wrote. "The first of 20 we will each be having today. Aren't we gorgeous?"

Oliver and Dean are currently starring in this year's Oakengates Theatre production of Cinderella alongside Tony Discipline from Eastenders, pop star Lolly and Isabel Gamble as Cinderella.

The pair have worked together for years and relish riling up panto crowds as the evil sisters.

The classic tale tells the story of Cinderella, whose life is turned around with a spot of fairy dust and a glass slipper.

The evening includes songs, dance routines, costumes and special effects, including a flying carriage.

The pantomime continues through to January 6. Tickets are still available at £18 for adults and £16 for children.
