Derek Downes, of Upper Road, Madeley, admitted having committed sexual assault on two 11-year-old boys on July 31.

He changed his plea during an appearance at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday.

Downes, 52, who has no previous convictions, will now be sentenced in December.

Judge Robert Eades told Downes he will have to sign the sex offenders' register on an interim basis before he is sentenced.

Downes was remanded in custody.
