STEM Challenge 2019: Schools and businesses rise to the challenge
The Shropshire Star has challenged local secondary schools to design and build a prototype product using all the skills from the STEM subjects.
The STEM Challenge 2019 – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths – was created in order to boost student engagement with these key topics and also to give them an understanding of how what they learn in the classroom will play a vital role in future careers.
The competition is forging links between local schools and businesses, while also providing students with an insight into the world of industry and the opportunities it provides.
