48 lambs are stolen from field

Almost 50 lambs have been stolen from a field in Montgomeryshire.

Last month, Dyfed-Powys Police revealed a theft had taken place in the Llandinam area, near Llanidloes, and urged farmers and landowners to be vigilant.

Now the latest case has seen 48 lambs stolen from a field between November 20 and 30.

PC Hannah Thrower said: "We are asking the public to remain vigilant, check and secure the gates to any land containing livestock and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.

"If anyone has any relevant information that can assist with this investigation, please contact PC 491 Thrower at Llanidloes Police Station by telephoning 101."
