Two men charged in Telford gunshot case

Two men have been charged after a gun was fired on a Telford housing estate.

Kyle Roy, 27, of Charles Road, Telford, and Aubrey Johnson, 27, of Station Road, Crewe, were charged with possessing a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear.

It follows an incident where a gun was fired at a car at Hurleybrook Way, in Leegomery, on Saturday night.

Both men were due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court today.

Police said that a 27-year-old from Telford who was previously arrested has been released with no further action.
