Appeal after attempted car theft in Much Wenlock

Police are appealing for information after an offender attempted to break into a car in Much Wenlock.

Between 9pm on Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday, and an unidentified offender has attempted to break into a Peugeot 3008 parked on Southfield Road.

Damage has been caused when the offender pulled hard on one of the door handles, denting the door, however no access was gained to the vehicle.

A statement from West Mercia Police states: "If you were on Southfield Road during the time in question, or have any information that may assist the police in identifying who was responsible for this crime, please call 101 and refer to incident 0076S 300119.
