CCTV image released after robbery at Shrewsbury petrol station

Police investigating a robbery at a fuel station in Shrewsbury have released an image of a man they would like to trace.

A man went into the store at Harlescott fuel station at about 4pm on Sunday and demanded cash from a member of staff.

It is believed he was in possession of what appeared to be a knife.

He made off with a small quantity of cash.

The member of staff was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.

Officers are keen to speak to the man pictured as he was in the store at the time and may have information that can help police with inquiries.

The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 464s 030319.
