Youths snatch handbag off 73-year-old woman in Telford Town Park
A 73-year-old woman had her bag snatched in Telford Town Park by two youths in the middle of the day.
The pensioner was approached by the thieves who stole her black leather handbag from her in the town park between 11.30am and 12pm yesterday.
Police say one of the youths is described as about 17, of thin build and wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled up and blue jeans.
The second youth is described as being of medium build and also wearing a black hoodie with a pattern on the back and black jeans.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
It is believed the park was busy at the time of the theft and anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact the police.
