Shaun Peach, 30, of Old Heath, Shrewsbury, was already subject to a banning order and was given an additional five years after he pleaded guilty to breaching it after the match at Montgomery Waters Meadow Stadium on January 26.

He was also given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge.

Martin Fletcher, 25, of New Villas, Dudleston Heath, near Ellesmere, was given a three-year order after he pleaded guilty to section four public order.

He was also handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge.

Trouble flared as Shrewsbury took a 2-0 lead before Wolves came back and snatched a last-gasp equaliser to force a replay at Molineux, which Wolves won 3-2.

Yesterday the men were banned from attending football matches for the duration of the orders.

Shropshire local policing commander Superintendent Mo Lansdale, said: "There is simply no place for violent disorder at football matches and we will always look to get those involved banned from attending football matches for a significant amount of time.

"We know the majority of fans are well behaved and are good natured in their celebrations and commiserations but for the minority who cause trouble we will not hesitate to take action."

The orders follow a five-year football banning order given to Shane Owen, 26, of Albert Square, Shrewsbury, on February 22 after he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.

Enquiries into the disorder are continuing and anyone who has information about those involved should contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 50s 260119.
