Horse stuck on gate rescued by fire crews near Bridgnorth

Fire crews rescued a horse stuck on a stable gate near Bridgnorth today.

Two fire appliances, including the rescue tender, from Bridgnorth and Wellington, attended a property in Astley Abbotts.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at just after 11.05am.

A vet also attended the scene.

Gemini the horse was freed by fire crews using cutting equipment.
