By Rob Smith | Bridgnorth | News | Published:

A horse became stuck in soft ground and firefighters were called to help rescue it.

The fire service was called at 8.25am today to Station Road in Stottesden, near Highley, after a horse got stuck.

Three fire crews were sent from the Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington stations.

A vet sedated the horse before it was helped back to its feet and guided into a stable using specialist animal rescue equipment.
