The car park at Ladywell will close at 5pm on December 28 as part of the regeneration of the nearby Business Centre.

International vehicle tracking supplier Quartix is scheduled to move into its new headquarters at Ladywell towards the end of February, bringing together under one roof more than 100 employees based in Newtown.

Ladywell owner EvaBuild Developments is preparing the final phase of work which will see the car park converted for use by Quartix employees. The revised private car park will have electric car charging points and bicycle storage facilities.

Alternative public parking facilities are available nearby at the Gravel Lane and Back Lane Car Parks.

EvaBuild’s directors Nick Evans and Dan Jones said: “By bringing Quartix’s Newtown workforce together under one roof, we hope to increase town centre footfall and kickstart regeneration in this part of Newtown.”
