Oswestry road closed after serious crash
A serious crash led to stretches of a major road being closed.

Whittington Road’s junctions with Unicorn Road, Harlech Road and Gobowen Road, in Oswestry, were all shut after the crash in Whittington Road.
Firefighters said the incident, at about 6.30pm on Thursday, was serious.
West Midlands Ambulance staff and police also attended the scene.
Meanwhile, a road near Ellesmere was shut after a car fell onto its side.
A section of the B5068, heading towards St Martin’s, had to be closed while firefighters made the car safe.
The crash happened soon after 6pm, also on Thursday night.
Oswestry’s firefighters were able to reopen the road by 9pm.
