Teddy the five-year-old cockerpoo went missing during a walk at Welshampton near Ellesmere in September.

Since his disappearance, his owner Theresa Moore and friends and supporters of a facebook appeal has scoured the countryside in a desperate bid to find the pet.

The family, from Hordley, have responded to scores of reports of sightings of dogs matching Teddy's appearance only to find it is not him.

They say not knowing what has happened to him is a daily nightmare.

Theresa said there was a large reward for Teddy's return.

"Not a day has gone by that we haven't looked for him wherever we are," she said.

"We know someone knows what happened that day or weekend and sadly it seems that that person or persons are happy to keep it to themselves and live with that.

"But for us it's a daily nightmare not knowing and wondering if he is still out there. And until we know different we have to keep looking and hoping.

"The tears still flow daily for us, we still miss him as much as we did the first day and the questions are still there as to why and what happened and how strange and unusual it was for Teddy to disappear."

Anyone with information or who spots him should call Theresa on 01691 623458 or 07583 593343.
