Firefighters rescue Telford worker stuck 45ft up in the air

A worker had to be rescued when his cherry picker vehicle stopped working high over Telford.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 11.50pm on Saturday when the cherry picker got stuck, 45 feet in the air at Park Lane, Old Park.

Two crews from Wellington went to the scene and the man was rescued from his machine by firefighters in a half hour operation.
