National award for Telford party venue
Bosses at a Telford party venue are feeling the love after being named business of the year in a national competition.
Casey’s Cordingley Hall took the top spot in the competition, which was run by marketing organisation The Best Of.
They managed to win thanks to having the most customer reviews, winning with 1,238 responses.
Nicola Casey, who owns the business, said: "I am over the moon.
"My business has never been about making lots of money. It’s about giving local people jobs, the community value for money and unique events, and a beautiful venue to hire to celebrate special occasions.
"I would like to thank my customers from the bottom of my heart for their help. The Casey’s team is truly feeling loved.”
The venue, based in Donnington, has won the title of best entertainment venue in the competition for its fourth year running, and has been in the top 15 businesses in the country each year.
But Nicola said this time her customers had really come through for her.
The team at Casey’s are currently getting ready for Valentines night, when they will hold candlelit meals and live music.
