Wellington post office reopens after mystery closure

The branch closed on January 22, but reopened today at 3pm.

Sheila Tapster, a spokeswoman for the Post Office, said: “We are pleased to announce that Wellington Post Office has re-opened today at 3pm.

"We sincerely apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure. We understand and appreciate how much communities rely on our services and we have worked hard to restore a service to the area as quickly as possible.”

No word was given as why the closure was put in place.
