Almost 10kg of cocaine worth an estimated £380,000 has been discovered during a raid on a flat.

Police said the drugs were found at a property in Landemer Drive, Rutherglen, on Monday morning.

Two men have been arrested and charged following the search in the South Lanarkshire town.

Police Scotland said they have recovered 9.5kg of what they believe to be cocaine in the property.

A 51-year-old man and a 31-year-old man are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday February 12 2019.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
