The 22-year old is one of a number of transfer targets Morley and new Bucks chief Liam Watson are keeping an eye on as they attempt to reshape the playing squad ahead of the forthcoming season.

Poku spent two loan spells at Southport, Morley and Watson's former club, impressing on both occasions.

And Morley would relish the chance to work with Poku again.

He said: "He is someone we have had at Southport a couple of times and he is one of the possibilities we are looking at, but there are other lads as well.

"If he was available in the summer, we would be interested in him.

"We took him before a couple of times and he did very well."

Poku spent last season at Haig Avenue, where he amassed 32 games for Southport as they finished 20th in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

He also represented the club on 22 occasions in his previous loan spell there, a six-month period starting in August 2011.

They finished just outside the play-offs, in seventh, in the 2011-12 season.

Meanwhile, the Bucks' pre-season fixtures are taking shape as Kidderminster Harriers have announced they will travel to the New Bucks Head for a friendly on July 23.

Telford already have a Shropshire Senior Cup clash against West Midlands Premier Division side Shawbury United pencilled in for July 9.

Also, the club is reminding supporters that the deadline to purchase early bird season tickets for the forthcoming season arrives this Friday

The club is offering its cheapest season ticket prices since 2010, and office opening hours at the New Bucks Head will be extended until 6pm for the rest of the week.

The Bucks are also launching a pitch repair fund, aimed at raising money to enable essential close season work on the pitch.

Supporters and businesses will be able to purchase a square foot of the pitch for just £15. The penalty spots and centre circle will priced be £40.

In return, buyers will receive a photo of themselves in their spot as well as a certificate.
