Steve Arnold

What a save from Helder Costa's header! The Portuguese international was six-yards out and unmarked, but the big man got down to force it away in what was a stand-out moment. His kicking has been poor lately, but today we saw a big improvement. 7/10.

James Bolton

The first of many to praise for Town's defensive strength. Sure, he can be one dimensional but he was at his best today. 8/10.

Mat Sadler

Defensively Town were well regimented, and praise for that has to go to Sadler. He took a booking when he needed to and marshalled a back three that for 75 minutes kept Wolves at bay. 7/10.

Luke Waterfall

Solid performance from Waterfall in both penalty areas. He has had his critics in recent weeks but he will be somewhat forgiven after that performance. Sure, things got in and behind him and he was far from faultless, but he was locking horns with a multi-million pound strike force. One moment stands out: A stunning last ditch tackle to stop an imminent Wolves goal. His best day in a Town shirt. 8/10.

Omar Beckles

Beckles has been begging for his shot and now he is taking it. He is so well suited to that role on the right of a back three and was solid today. 7/10.

Ryan Haynes

Haynes was lucky not to see Wolves put themselves ahead early on when Matt Doherty got skipped past him all to easily. He has played better for Town, that is for sure, but remained solid. 6/10.

Anthony Grant

Grant was a real menace for Town and Ricketts needed him to be if there was to be any chance of an upset at the Meadow. Wolves were loathing having to play against him, and who wouldn't. Monster. 8/10.

Josh Laurent

Laurent was sublime. His most hardworking performance to date. He was so calm in possession and caused Wolves real problems on the ball. His technical ability is not his best attribute, but he makes up for it with his fight in the middle of the park. 9/10.

Ollie Norburn

A busy performance from Norburn where a lot of his good work went unseen. He won the ball well on occasions and was a vital cog in the midfield machine. 7/10.

Greg Docherty

Town's goalscorer. I hope Rangers weren't watching. Docherty looked more than comfortable against Premier League opposition. He forced a strong save from John Ruddy just before half time that would have nestled in the corner against a League One 'keeper. 9/10.

Fejiri Okenabirhie

What did he have for breakfast? Okenabirhie seemed to win every kick that Arnold sent his way during the first half and chased absolutely everything. He is stronger than he has ever been given credit for. What a performance. What a player. 9/10.
