Dendoncker has yet to start a Premier League game for Wolves and has only played nine minutes off the bench, against Chelsea.

The defensive midfielder, who can also play at centre-half, is on loan for the season from Anderlecht but Wolves have an obligation to buy him next summer.

Nuno said, when asked why Dendoncker hasn't played more: "That is because he decided that the right moment for him didn’t arrive yet but that doesn’t mean that we don’t trust him or know we can count on him.

“He is totally adapted and ready for us to decide which moment he has to go in the team."

Reports in Belgium have suggested Dendoncker could be loaned out to a different club in January.

But Nuno said: "I don’t speak about speculation. You are telling me that, what do you want me to say about rumours or speculation or something that is written in the press.

"Do you expect me to comment about that?

"I don’t even know what you’re talking about. All the players that are here, I totally trust them and I am confident when the moment comes we can count on them.

"Beyond that I don’t care about anything else."
