Wolves set for second Marbella trip of the season

Wolves are set to fly out to Spain following the Premier League clash with Southampton as they look to re-charge ahead of the Premier League run-in.

Nuno's side will jet out to Marbella, on the south coast of Spain, for a warm-weather training camp following the game with the Saints.

Wolves have utilised the Spanish city earlier this season, partaking in a mid-season break in the region following their FA Cup fourth round replay with Shrewsbury Town - they also visited Spain during last year's promotion campaign.

Nuno claimed that the most recent break helped Wolves work hard but also make the bonds between the team stronger.

The trip was sanctioned ahead of the side's defeat to Watford in the FA Cup semi-final.

Wolves currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, level on points with seventh-placed Leicester City, but behind on goal difference.

They face Southampton this weekend, before hosting Brighton and Arsenal. They then tackle FA Cup semi-final victors Watford at Vicarage Road before the end of April.

Their final two games of the season come at home to already relegated Fulham, and away to title-chasing Liverpool.
