Attitude is the key for Telford Tigers boss Tom Watkins
Head coach Tom Watkins has urged Telford Tigers not to be complacent as they take on two struggling teams this weekend.
Tigers, who are fourth in the NIHL Moralee Conference, host eighth-placed Blackburn Hawks tonight (7pm) before heading to Billingham Stars tomorrow (6.30pm).
“We’ve had a lot of cup hockey recently but now we’re back in league action,” said Watkins.
“We’ve got games in hand on the three teams above us so we’re keen to make the most of those and close the gap.
“But having no complacency is the key. We’ve been very professional in every game so far this season, so we want that to continue.
“Blackburn are a talented group and Billingham is never an easy place to go so they’re not easy games, that’s for sure.”
